The Faith of the Centurion
When Jesus had finished saying all this in the hearing of the people, he entered Capernaum. There a centurion’s servant, whom his master valued highly, was sick and about to die. The centurion heard of Jesus and sent some elders of the Jews to him, asking him to come and heal his servant. When they came to Jesus, they pleaded earnestly with him, “This man deserves to have you do this, because he loves our nation and has built our synagogue.” So Jesus went with them.
He was not far from the house when the centurion sent friends to say to him: “Lord, don’t trouble yourself, for I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. That is why I did not even consider myself worthy to come to you. But say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me, I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
When Jesus heard this, he was amazed at him, and turning to the crowd following him, he said, “I tell you, I have not found such great faith even in Israel.” Then the men who had been sent returned to the house and found the servant well.

The Coming of the Kingdom of God
Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.”
(The Gospel of Luke, Chapter 17: verses 20 and 21)
The New Jerusalem
‘… And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying: “Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.
‘He who was seated on the throne said, ‘I am making everything new!’ Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
(The Book of Revelations, Chapter 21: verses 3 to 5)
Akihito-san, arise and be healed. The power of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of Hosts and the Healing Spirit of God has come upon you. God loves you so much and has heard your prayers. Your faith has healed you and your entire household.
God bless you and the prayers of your noble wife Her Sovereign Majesty Empress Michiko on the occasion of her seventy-fourth (74th) birthday celebration. God bless all the faithful and hardworking people of the Empire of Japan. God loves all of humanity.
